Press conference
A press conference took place on 19th February 2012 at Al Nasr Stadium to announce that the training camp of the Egyptian Olympic National Team will take place in Dubai between 18.02.2012 and 26.02.2012, such team being qualified for the Olympic Games in London where they will represent Africa together with Morocco and Gabon.
The Egyptian Olympic Team will play two international matches during its stay in Dubai:
- 21.02.2012 vs Romania at 20.00 at Al Nasr Stadium
- 24.02.2012 vs Uzbekistan at 20.00 at Al Nasr Stadium
Matchworld Football SA, the organizer of the two matches, will transfer a percentage of their ticketing income to the families of the victims of the game played in Port Said (Egypt) last month.
After playing the two matches in Dubai, the Egyptian Olympic Team will travel to Spain for playing one additional international match vs Spain Olympic Team which is also qualified for the Olympic Games 2012.
The head coach Hany Ramzy, the captain Ahmad Schri as well as the goalkeeper Mohamad Basam attended the press conference.
